My passion as a therapist is offering affordable therapy to individuals, couples, and families in need of therapeutic support! My goal is to guide and support you through any of your personal or relationship issues with compassion and empathy in a comfortable, confidential, and non-judgemental environment. By focusing on recognizing patterns of behaviors/interactions and learning how to better manage your emotional experiences, I'll guide you towards achieving your goals and improving your overall quality of life!
I specialize in relationship issues including constant conflict, infidelity, lack of trust, establishing boundaries, emotional traumas, loss of connection and more. With an approach that seeks to increase accessibility and responsiveness between you and your partner, you'll be able to re-establish emotional safety, comfort, and connection within your relationship.
I also specialize in food addiction and binge eating issues. If you see yourself turning to food and eating as a way to cope with any number of life issues, I will help you explore this pattern of overeating and acquire coping skills to maintain a healthier relationship with food and a healthier mental and physical lifestyle.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy can be so helpful in many different ways. One way is by offering an emotionally safe, comfortable, and confidential place to talk about difficult issues you are experiencing. The therapist-client relationship should be empathetic, supportive, and encouraging, which is of utmost importance to me. It should also be challenging in terms of me guiding you outside of your comfort zones just enough to promote personal growth and change, using compassion and healing nurturing along that journey.
Another way therapy can be helpful is by teaching how to better recognize, identify, and effectively manage all of your different emotional experiences. When we feel like our emotions have more control over us than we have over them, this can lead to many different issues in our life.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to create a safe alliance with you, show genuine curiosity about your experiences and processes, and collaborate and guide you through experiencing and organizing your emotional experiences and behavioral reactions. I strive to empower you to recognize and implement change in your life, while offering compassion, empathy, and nurturing support along the way.

My Therapy Focus

My focus is to help you better identify problematic patterns of behaviors, identify and regulate emotions, and implement coping skills and strategies in order to create new patterns of behavior and interactions. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, eating issues, addiction, anger management,or any other emotional or behavioral issue, learning how to sit with uncomfortable emotions and how to respond differently to them is a key piece in overcoming issues holding you back from experiencing your best life possible.
