My Approach to Helping
I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for individuals to explore their conflicts and barriers to growth. My core philosophy evolves from a deep interest in the object-relations/ attachment and trauma models. My nursing background has greatly influenced my practice in the integration of mind-body experiences, since our bodies often reflect our psychological/emotional pain. The patient's self-determination holds primary importance in my approach to psychotherapy. It is essential for the individual to develop a trusting relationship with me and the process to move toward a positive outcome identified by the patient.

More Info About My Practice
I have post-graduate training in the Advanced Psychotherapy Training Program at The Washington School of Psychiatry, as well as workshops in sensorimotor therapy and completed training at The Relational Institute at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis.

I am a Medicare provider. I do not take other insurances. My fee is $85.00 per hour and I can arrange a sliding scale fee.
