My Approach to Helping

We all experience challenges in our life that may seem overwhelming. Seeking counseling during these times is a sign of strength, as it shows a willingness to face problems, rather than avoid them. I have a colloborative approach with my clients, and believe that humor and empowerment are key components to therapy.

 

More Info About My Practice

I teach solution-focused tools that clients can use in the "real world" to improve their quality of life. Upon request, I also offer animal assisted therapy as option to facilitate therapy. My dog is gentle, and appears to have a calming effect on clients. I am currently taking new clients. My office is conveniently located two blocks north of 90th and Maple street. I accept Medicaid, TriCare, self-pay and most insurance policies.
