My Approach to Helping
My main focus is on the evaluation and diagnosis of childhood and adult psychiatric conditions. I specialize in comprehensive attention-deficit hyperactivity and autism spectrum (ASD) evaluations, Tourette’s Tics, depression, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive, anxiety, etc. Other areas of interest include mood issues, trauma, schizoaffective and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic intervention for adult clients aged 2-60 years of age. I believe in holistic care and creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
Aside from evaluating and treating general primary care conditions, neurological conditions, I specialize in Neurodevelopmental and Neurogenetic conditions such as autism spectrum (ASD), ADHD, MotorVocal Tics, and all other psychiatric conditions. I worked in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Psychiatry areas.
A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals, and education about diagnosis and available treatment options. I have the pleasure of working alongside many knowledgeable and skilled, and experienced therapists, counselors, and clinicians, and am happy to collaborate and coordinate.
