I follow a gestalt philosophy and approach to counselling. I believe in creating more choice for my clients by raising awareness levels around their issues. The counselling attempts to complete a client's unfinished business around the past and to help each client become aware of the unsuccessful ways of contact that he/she might be using that currently interfere with getting their needs fully met. The counselling is holistic..the cognitive, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of the client are all addressed. The parts are greater than the whole. The counselling contains elements of experimentation with new behaviours. I believe strongly in the healing that comes through a personal therapist and client relationship.
