My Approach to Helping

Many people are finding it increasingly more difficult to do things in moderation given the current state of the economy. After a while, someone's chosen "escape" can take on a life of it's own, creating increased shame, isolation and a decline in overall performance. Whether someone is in the beginning phases of addiction or deeply entrenched, a confidential evaluation can be very beneficial. With over 27 years of clinical and supervisory experience in the field of Addiction/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment, I offer insight, practical solutions and most important, a relaxed and private place to sort things out.
I provide a progressive approach to Addiction/Co-Existing Disorders Treatment. In laymans terms... I treat people who have issues with addictions as well as other problems that may be increasing the addictive behaviors. In many situations, family members can dramatically increase positive outcomes by exploring their own thought patterns and behaviors as well. Breaking the blame/defensiveness cycle allows for healing and change.
