My Approach to Helping
As a licensed therapist in the Bay Area, I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy to help you grow and make positive changes in your life. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have over 7 years of experience providing coaching and counseling to adults, adolescents and families. I have experience working with diverse clients in various mental health settings. I tend to use an eclectic, relational based approach, while also paying attention to your environment and how it affects your life and presenting problems.
I can help you navigate through anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship issues by providing you with agency and unconditional positive regard in our sessions together. I will support you with validation, empathic listening, warmth and humor so that you feel seen, heard and understood. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Narrative therapy, Solution-focused therapy and mindfulness techniques to empower you in order to achieve your treatment goals.
As clients develop greater kindness towards themselves, they see positive changes in many aspects of their lives. My goal as a therapist is to create a non-judgmental, safe space for you to discover inner strengths on your journey to self-fulfillment and achieve your life goals. Let's work together, I’m looking forward to hearing your story. "
