My Approach to Helping
I provide a warm, non-judgmental environment for you to explore all aspects of yourself, mining for both limitations and strengths to bring your best self forward. This allows you to discover what makes you special and develop your strengths for facing challenges.
Areas I can help you with include self-esteem, co-dependency, setting boundaries, work/life balance, caregiver burnout, dysfunctional family dynamics, and existential concerns, and life transitions. I use a variety of modalities but always work in a client-centered manner, focusing on the issues that matter most to you.
I am a licensed Psychotherapist in California and Nevada. I received a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and MA in Counseling Psychology from JFKU. Former board member and Treasurer of the Sacramento Valley and Santa Clara Valley chapters of the CA Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
