What's My Approach to Therapy?
Therapy is a space to grow, adapt, and heal—and I’m here to guide that process with consistency and care.
At Lemon Tree Counseling and Therapy in South Seattle, I work with neurodivergent individuals, families facing behavioral and relational challenges, stress management, and clients navigating trauma, self-harm, or suicidality. I believe that healing begins in a space that feels safe, respectful, and reliable—where you can show up as you are and be met with compassion.
My approach integrates dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients move out of survival mode and into a place of confidence, clarity, and emotional stability. Emotion focused family therapy (EFFT) uses attachment and connection to resolve conflict and rebuild trust in family units and partnerships. I also teach adaptive living skills to people with attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), helping them build systems that support their strengths.
My practice is affirming, inclusive, and focused on real-world change. People of all ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, nationalities, and abilities are valued, respected, and supported. I offer in-person therapy in South Seattle and virtual sessions statewide.
