My Approach to Helping
Living with spiraling, negative thoughts that won't go away, feeling overwhelmed, and staying mired in shame and guilt has become the norm. It’s like each day is stuck on replay, just going through the motions, and you don't even know where to go from here. It just seems impossible. This battle with yourself of regret, never feeling good enough, guilt and loneliness makes every day seem like a mountain to climb. Alone. There’s no relief in sight, and avoiding and numbing has become the go to. You wonder if it will ever get better, if happiness and peace are even possible.
My specialty is helping you find hope, self-compassion and self-confidence, coming out of the dark place you're in. I'll be there with you. My approach is tailored to you and your individual needs, to help you understand what's happening and begin to heal and grow. In our work together, we’ll often use mindfulness, self-expression, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) to lessen tthe current pain of past negative experiences, and help you renew your thoughts, so you can get unstuck and live the life you really want.
