My Approach to Helping
Making the decision to seek therapeutic services can be a daunting process, but you’ve already taken the first steps toward getting the support you need. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I strive to provide a space where all individuals can be seen and heard. I have worked extensively with youth, adults, and families who are struggling with mild to more severe mental health symptoms.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe all individuals have the ability and desire to create change in their life. My role is to support you in finding your voice and power to grow and change in a way that is authentic for you. Techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed, solution-focused and anti-oppressive practices are utilized to support clients through difficult transitions.
