My Approach to Helping
For the past 10+ years, I have been working with families and individual clients of all ages. I am motivated by helping others work through their unique life experiences. When we struggle, sometimes we need help navigating through life's challenges. Finding healthy ways to express ourselves and communicate our needs is crucial to our well-being. I am particularly skilled in counseling people with behavioral issues, impulse control, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, identity, relationships, and conflict resolution. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse.
I take great pride in my attentive and interactive counseling style. My approach to everyday life has always been positive and empathetic. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client-centered therapy, in addition to utilizing clients' strengths. My focus with clients is to create a safe, therapeutic environment conducive to growth and change.
