My Approach to Therapy
The work I do is founded on the principle of helping others create the life that they want. Often times that means resolving past trauma or issues that stand in our way. Change can be a difficult process, but with someone who understands how change occurs and the pitfalls that can hinder change it is possible. I offer counseling, psychiatric services, and medication management. Every person deserves to live their life by design and I am here to help individuals through empowerment to heal and find long lasting recovery and change.

I specialize in helping individuals with issues of Trauma. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting (to learn more go to the multimedia tab and watch the videos) along with other treatments to help individual find some resolution and healing from their trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and earned my certification in 2021.
I also have over 9 years experience working with individual struggling with co-occuring disorders (mental health issues and addiction) I am able to provide integrative treatment to help and am dually licensed and trained in both areas. Life By Design Counseling also offers psychiatric and medication management services to clients.
