What's My Approach to Therapy?

I'm a professional counselor associate based in Portland, Oregon. I work with people who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive (OCD), addictions with co-occurring concerns, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and the impacts of sexual assault or domestic violence.

In our work together, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll collaborate to set meaningful goals, explore practical coping strategies, and build resilience. My trauma-informed approach draws on mindfulness, self-awareness, and your unique strengths to help you better understand yourself and develop skills that support lasting growth and change.

My Practice & Services

I offer secure telehealth sessions for individuals throughout Oregon. Online therapy provides a private and convenient way to access support, whether you’re at home, on a break at work, or traveling. We typically begin with weekly sessions to establish a steady foundation, and then adjust the pace as your needs and goals evolve. My intention is to provide a grounded, supportive space where you can step back from daily demands and focus on your well-being.

Accessibility and sustainability are important to me. I currently offer private pay options and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. My commitment is to ensure therapy feels approachable, meaningful, and aligned with the lasting changes you hope to create in your life.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Many people seek counseling during times of stress, transition, or uncertainty, but it can also be a place to grow, gain insight, and strengthen resilience. In our work together, therapy can help you clarify goals and values, develop practical coping skills, and recognize patterns that may be holding you back. It can also support you in building self-compassion, uncovering resilience, and creating meaningful changes that bring greater balance, healing, and fulfillment to your life.
