My Approach to Helping
The warrior goes into combat with a strong sense of duty and purpose. It's difficult to return home only to feel misunderstood and disconnected---even from your family and loved ones. This transition process frequently requires someone being there for you--someone who has been there and understands what you are going through. I've been there, I understand.
More Info About My Practice
As a combat veteran, I am highly motivated and devoted to helping past and current war veterans deal with issues of war trauma. I believe that many of their responses are normal responses to the abnormal circumstances of war and combat. I also believe that there are benefits to having served in the crucible of war, and those who have served emerge with values and insight that can benefit all of society.
