My Approach to Helping
My role as a therapist is to empathize, educate and empower. Taking a collaborative or team approach, I will journey with you as you take control of your life and establish healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and being. I nurture a supportive and safe atmosphere where you can work through hardships and build upon the strengths and skills that have helped you to overcome past challenges. While I do use traditional talk therapy interventions, I also incorporate art, games and music into sessions.
More Info About My Practice

Video sessions can be utilized for clients residing in CA that are unable to meet face to face in the office
My Role as a Therapist
We are unique in our strengths and in our struggles. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to explore the obstacles that have interrupted your life and relationships. I will help you learn new ways of coping and relating to others so you can get back on track with newfound insight, strength, and hope. Together we will set therapeutic goals and establish a plan for daily success.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Because everyone experiences stress, conflict, sadness, pain, and fear it is not always easy to identify when you or your loved one needs to seek outside support. Finding the right therapist to support you on your journey of healing and self-discovery is crucial. I will be compassionate, empathetic, and non- judgmental. I will take the time and interest in getting to know you as a whole person, aside from the problem or issue that led you to seek therapy. I will foster an environment of safety, trust, and respect. Lastly, I will use humor, because laughter in itself is healing for the mind, body, and soul.
