My Approach to Helping
I firmly believe in using an accepting, nonjudgmental approach with my clients. I am very accepting of their realities and experiences. I listen to their challenges with a nonjudgemental filter. It is my mission to get to know the person beyond the problems they present. I believe that each of my clients possesses the unique strengths and abilities needed to overcome any challenges they experience. Every problem exists, for the client, within the context of their environment. I walk alongside the client, exploring that context and working collaboratively with them to determine what changes are needed in order to achieve their therapeutic goals.
“To my prospective clients, let me say this: I know it takes courage to reach out for help. It is my mission to reach back with a level of empathy that will allow you to feel important, understood and empowered to begin cultivating the life, love, and relationships you desire.â€
More Info About My Practice
Considering those I’ve helped, what brought them to me was some level of relational conflict with significant others, friends or close family members where a level of dysfunction was indicated. Invariably, each person is looking for happiness, peace of mind, and a sense of stability. Some seek to understand, others…simply a way forward. Resolving these issues brings us closer to closure, enabling all to seek new pathways towards self-satisfaction. By identifying the barriers to living full lives, unapologetically, my mission becomes clear.
