Your child or teen is stressed out, overwhelmed, and irritable. They may be going through changes and it's hard to see them like this. Even though you're doing everything you can think of to help, it may not feel like it's enough. Perhaps your child or teen has become emotional, angry or defiant. They may be struggling with school. Something is going on and you want your child to feel better.

I'm passionate about helping overwhelmed children (8+) and teens worry less, discover coping skills, and increase happiness and self-esteem. Please contact me today to schedule your free 20-minute consultation.

More Info About My Practice

Compassion and creativity guide my work. Bringing creative experiences into sessions can be beneficial because they can help us to go deeper and often serve as bridges between conscious and unconscious parts. That said, I tailor sessions to each individual client. For some people, straight talk therapy works best. I'm trained in evidence-based modalities like CBT, as well as Play Therapy, Sand Play, Depth work, and Bereavement counseling.

I work with older kids (8+), adolescents, and adults. My office is in a peaceful setting surrounded by gardens. There is free and easy parking available.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I chose to become a therapist because I care deeply about helping others who may feel confused, lonely, stuck, anxious, and/or hopeless like I have at points in my life. My parents divorced when I was in 5th grade, and that was a particularly hard time.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

Therapy usually works best with weekly meetings (sessions last for 50 minutes). This regularity helps facilitate steady progress toward your goals. If you'd prefer to meet every other week, please contact me because this may be possible.
