I pride myself on running an agency that promotes genuine interaction and help. All my clinicians have a focus on the client that is invaluable. We each work in different ways with different populations and are excited about the work we do. We make a commitment that if we can't help you, we will find you the help you need.

My Role as a Therapist

I look at my job as being similar to a GPS. You decide and tell me where you want to go and it is my job to find the right route to get you there.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

You do not have to be in crisis to be able to benefit from therapy. Coming in to therapy allows you to gain insight, see new perspectives, and discover new possibilities. Therapy is a rewarding experience as long as you are open to it.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Even the most stable and/or healthy people can benefit from therapy. I have had several clients who come in while their lives are under control just to check in and make sure they are on the right track and to help them avoid future conflict. Times have changed and therapy is no longer viewed as merely for those who are unable to handle themselves or their lives. Therapy is to enhance and improve the life that you are already dealing with. Personally, I believe in moving the attention away from dwelling on the problems at hand and shifting focus onto the possibilities for improvements. I work with short term goals which lead to long term feelings of improvement and strength.
