My Approach to Helping
I help people connect deeply to themselves and the wisdom of their own hearts and minds. I do this by being emotionally engaged and present from the very beginning and directing them to the innate wisdom of the body. I believe the mind and body work best in union and help people make this connection to themselves and their feelings and emotions. I don't waste time. Life is too short. Freedom and aliveness are available in every moment.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

How it feels in the room with the person. You need to feel connected and have some sense of trust that this person can help you.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

It takes a lot of strength and courage to face ones issues and problems, just as it does to admit that one is wrong or has made a mistake. This is admirable to me and something I look for in friends, colleagues, and mentors. Radical honesty is a quality I value highly and so think and feel quite highly about my clients/patients. And I wouldn't ask you to do anything I wouldn't do myself.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

It all starts with the relationship. So many of our problems and issues come down to failures in one way or another of significant relationships i our lives. It is important for the therapeutic relationship to be different. I want you to feel safe enough with me that you can tell me anything, including things about me that might not be working for you so we can make adjustments.
