*Group offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the support and wisdom of other women while learning more about yourself. Women in this group are content in most areas of life but want more rewarding relationships with themselves and others. This is an established, ongoing group that meets on alternate Wednesday evenings. The member age range is 40s through 60s. As of October 2026, there are two openings in this group.

How to Register

After an initial no-charge telephone consultation, interested women complete two pre-group assessment sessions ($175 each) to help the facilitator gather background/history, discuss goals, and prepare them for the group. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits, the assessment sessions may be reimbursable.

Ellen M. Rugg, MA, MSW, LICSW, CPG, is passionate about group work and has been facilitating groups for over 30 years. Currently, Ellen leads four long-term women's interpersonal development groups virtually on Zoom. As a Field Instructor for the University at Buffalo School of Social Work, Ellen supervised and mentored graduate students in the art and science of group work. Currently, as a WA State Approved Supervisor, she provides group and individual supervision to associate therapists working toward clinical licensure. Sometimes, at the end of a group, Ellen's been known to say to herself, "And I get paid for this?"
