Our integrated approach to teen treatment is mental health primary, uncovering and healing the trauma and attachment wounds that catalyze depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse, self-harm, and eating disorders.

About Our Center

At Newport Academy, our outcomes-based clinical model is founded in compassion, expertise, and unconditional love. We nurture every aspect of a teen’s well-being, addressing their physical, psychological, social, educational, and spiritual needs. Our mission is to empower teens and restore families by providing the tools for long-term, sustainable healing. Upon admission to Newport Academy, each teen receives a tailored treatment plan designed by their treatment team in response to their psychological history, current circumstances, family situation, and learning needs. Comprised of a combination of evidence-based clinical, experiential, and educational modalities, teens’ weekly schedules include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as classroom hours and private tutoring as needed to support their continued academic progress. As one of the country’s leading top-rated rehab centers, Newport Academy prioritizes outcomes research. To fulfill our commitment to providing truly evidence-based care, we partner with world-class comprehensive research institutions to commission rigorous third-party evaluations of our programming, yielding industry-leading results.
