My Approach to Therapy

Do you feel like your emotions, your thoughts, relationships, marriage, children or work are out of control? Are you feeling sad, lonely, anxious, frustrated, overwhelmed, confused or just stuck? Have you been the victim of abuse or a traumatic life experience? Or maybe you would just like help figuring out where you're headed or what you want to do with your life. We all experience things that we need a little extra help with sometimes. Just as you would see a medical doctor if you had symptoms of diabetes, you might benefit from the help of a skilled mental health specialist if you are experiencing relationship, emotional or mental health issues. As a trained and licensed psychotherapist and a Clinical Certified Trauma Specialist, it is my passion to help you resolve those issues that keep you from living your best life. I am here for you-to listen and to help guide the process to your healing and wholeness. Do you need help with regulating your emotions, tolerating stress, living in the present rather than ruminating on the past, or making peace with trauma experiences? I can be of help to you!

How Psychotherapy Can Help

We all will experience ups and downs in life and just as we must at times seek the help of a medical doctor for medical concerns, there are times we would benefit from seeing a trained, skilled, and licensed professional counselor who can guide our return to mental wellness. I can help you to do this.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

To help you live your best life.
