My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is collaborative and is built on the relationship I have with my client. I strive to help my clients build skills for a more 'effective' life and create a deeper understanding and compassion for themselves. My background is in trauma treatment for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. My passions are with the challenges faced by people with emotional, intellectual, and physical differences.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy can help improving self esteem, lifting depression, reducing anxiety, eliminating harmful thoughts by building compassion for yourself, understanding your challenges, and turning them around to be strengths. It is also a method to build coping skills in interpersonal relationships, emotion regulation, and life change.
