I use an insightful and personalized approach to help clients identify barriers to happiness and gain a better understanding of their emotions and experiences. Knowing yourself deeply is an essential ingredient in creating the life you want, and this type of emotional learning ideally occurs within the context of a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help clients explore behavioral patterns and achieve psychological well-being.
My approach focuses on helping clients with a range of issues such as grief, depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, and anger management. I provide clients with the emotional self-regulation tools, coping and communication skills, mindfulness techniques, and self-management strategies needed to cultivate change.

More Info About My Practice

I have created a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space for children, adolescents, and families confronting a range of issues such as emotional and social concerns, anger management, anxiety, depression, trauma, oppositional behavior, school refusal, OCD, and ADHD. My goal is to give children and adolescents the practical skills, strategies, and inner strength to more effectively cope with life's challenges
I understand the impact that having a child with emotional and academic challenges can have on relationships, and I work closely with families to handle this experience. In my work with parents, I provide support on practical matters, such as creating predictable routines and systems, limit setting, handling difficult life experiences such as divorce, and developing effective parenting skills.
To best meet the unique needs of children and adolescent clients, I offer school consultation to assist families in collaborating with school staff and addressing children and adolescents? social, emotional, and academic needs in the school environment. I am available to attend district child study team meetings, as well as other school-based meetings to serve as an advocate for my client. In order to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for my client, I work closely with psychiatrists, speech therapists, learning specialists and other supporting professionals.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

There is nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact on someone's life. I feel grateful that in my daily work I can share with my client's tools and strategies that help them navigate through life's joys and challenges.
