My Approach to Helping
Your anxiety is ramped up trying to control something that you cannot control. Your world has been turned upside down and now nothing seems the same. Fatigue and feelings of distraction are constantly present and your worry about what might happen is too loud. You may feel that your relationships have changed and that you need to protect the ones you love by hiding how you truly feel. Trying to stay "positive" just isn't cutting it anymore and you long to find peace.
My speciality is in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, loss and health concerns. I can help assist in easing the stress and overwhelm that you might feel offer a safe space to voice what might be difficult and help you focus on feeling better.
My role is to partner with you in achieving what is important to you. My approach is relational and I believe deeply that the therapist-client connection is crucial to supporting meaningful change.
