My Approach to Helping
Hi there, my name is Amanda, welcome to my profile:) I am a licensed mental health counselor committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and hope. My practice focuses on solution-focused therapies tailored to people experiencing anxiety, depression, as well as ADHD and OCD. I work collaboratively with clients to uncover strengths, set practical goals, and create change—one step at a time. In addition to traditional mental health care, I offer spiritual counseling for individuals from all faiths and backgrounds.
I've been working in the mental health world for over 10 years now. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I also have training in transpersonal counseling which allows spirituality to enter into the counseling space to promote purpose and meaning.
