I feel very optimistic that people have the ability to make positive changes in their lives and can create lives that feel meaningful. Within a therapeutic relationship of trust and connection, I help people understand how their perceptions can keep them feeling stuck in their lives. With support, understanding, and clarity, clients can feel motivated and able to to master the different and difficult challenges life can present. Therapy provides a supportive environment where clients are empowered to discover and access their very best, to develop insights that make change possible, and to find ways to create more fulfilling lives. Over 20 years of practicing in Massachusetts, I have been on staff at McLean Hospital with appointments at the Harvard Medical School. I have advanced training in Geriatric Psychiatry, Marriage and Couples Therapy and run groups for parents of children with special needs.
