Sandstone Care Teen Center at Chesapeake is specifically designed for teens (ages 13-18) struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our whole-person treatment program helps teens learn healthy coping skills and resiliency.

About Our Center

Sandstone Care Chesapeake is located in Crownsville, Maryland in a quiet neighborhood spanning across 6 acres of wooded properties. This gives teens a safe, relaxing, and captivating environment to meet their challenges head-on while surrounded by caring licensed professionals. Our Residential program focuses on providing a home-like environment while treating teens as whole people. When dealing with marijuana abuse, alcohol abuse, mental health disorders, etc. there is more to consider than just physical needs. At Sandstone Care we understand the importance of supporting teens through their physical, mental, and emotional challenges. As a parent, imagine the secure feeling of knowing your child is in a supportive environment where they are encouraged to make positive and healthy changes in their lives. That is what we strive to accomplish. During a teen’s 45 to 60 day stay, our wide range of treatment approaches and evidence-based practices will equip and empower them and their families with the tools they need to reach their specific goals.
