About Our Center

Foundations San Diego—ideally located in the Hillcrest metropolitan area—offers intensive outpatient care for individuals with co-occurring psychological, emotional, and substance dependence issues. Our approach is based on empirically-supported techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and other proven methodologies. Our mental health care services include group therapy, individual therapy, supervised medication management, integrated educational classes, partial hospitalization, and a variety of holistic modalities. We also utilize the stages-of-change model as individuals are helped to recover. At Foundations San Diego, we host free evening aftercare groups for people who have completed the treatment program. Yoga is a regular part of our agenda during these sessions.
