What's My Approach to Therapy?
I take a non-judgmental and holistic-integrated approach, committed to the notion that we cannot separate mind, soul, and body when it comes to wellness and mental health. I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy, with the client as a co-equal in a shared journey toward self-efficacy, resilience, and a life worth living. I have learned that each client presents hishertheir own unique set of circumstances, history, proclivities, etc., and that an integrative approach (using andor combining different therapeutic modalities) offers the most flexibility and likelihood of achieving therapeutic goals.
No matter how difficult one’s situation or how complex the issues, we can work together to define achievable goals that, once realized, can bring meaning, contentment, and reward to life.
