What's My Approach to Therapy?
I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, grief, relational challenges, and trauma. My approach is integrative and grounded in current neuroscience, drawing from somatic, emotion-focused, trauma-informed, and attachment-based perspectives. After seven years of practice, what matters most to me is that therapy feels deeply human. In moments of pain and uncertainty, I’m with you as another human being - present, compassionate, and respectful of how tender this work can be. My passion for this work comes from my own transformative experiences in therapy, and my deep belief in the healing power of attuned human connection.
Together, we may work on processing trauma, easing anxiety, depression, or burnout, strengthening boundaries, improving communication and decision-making, and finding steadier ways to meet stress or anger. I have experience counselling clients from diverse cultures, races, genders, faiths, and sexual orientations.
Inspired by Henri David Thoreau's quote, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them,” I believe everyone has a story and purpose that needs to be heard and validated. Together, I hope we can uncover your true self, helping you to sing your unique song.
