My Approach to Helping

Welcome! I believe seeking help is a sign of courage and is the first step toward a more fulfilling and healthy life. As a counselor, I strive to create a healthy, therapeutic relationship with my clients in a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere with the goal of exploring and fostering self-compassion and acceptance. I offer goal-oriented and or long-term relational therapy based on individual desires and needs. My approach is transparent and practical, while also being collaborative and warm. I believe in following a clients' lead, offering guidance and insight, and figuring out the best course of action together.

My clients are professional adults wanting goal-oriented andor long-term relational therapy that's both practical and warm. Through therapy they've experienced much success in the following areas:

Relationship with self (identitysexuality, confidenceself compassion, processing emotions)

Interpersonal relationships (dating, boundaries, communication, navigating difficult people)

Anxiety (understanding anxiety, coping, tools to manage)

Career (work-life balance, navigating powerful positions, career change)

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Becoming a therapist felt like a calling to me from a very young age. Since I could remember I've been the go-to-person for my friends and family. My natural intuition, sensitivity and calming demeanor have provided me with the foundation to help others with life's struggles. I enjoy the process of getting to know others on a deeper level and creating a therapeutic relationship. My job fulfills me when I know I've aided in shifting other's lives. I hope I get to do this for as long as I can.
