My Approach to Helping
My approach to helping is rooted in a unique combination of science, therapy, and practical application. I believe in using an integrative method to support your mental and emotional well-being.
My background in neuroscience gives me a deep understanding of the brain's complexities and how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected on a biological level. I've also had the privilege of studying immuno-oncology at Harvard Medical School, which has further illuminated the powerful and intricate link between the mind and body. This knowledge allows me to appreciate how stress, chronic thought patterns, and emotional states can impact physical health and vice versa.
In addition to my advanced diploma in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I'm also a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. This is not just a collection of credentials; it is the foundation of my holistic approach. CBT provides the framework for us to identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, while my expertise in physical wellness allows us to address the body's role in the process. We can explore how movement, exercise, and proper nutrition are powerful tools for mood regulation, stress reduction, and overall mental resilience.
By integrating these different disciplines, I aim to provide a comprehensive and effective path to healing. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge and practical strategies to not only understand your challenges but to create lasting positive change in your life.
