My Approach to Helping
I am an experienced licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. My goal and my passion is to work with my clients on whatever concerns they may have and to help them, with compassion and competence, make their lives more satisfying and fulfilling. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, families and groups going through life changes which may result in stress or anxiety including marriagedivorceremarriage, relationship issues, parenting, personal development, aging and illness.
I facilitate a THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT GROUP for divorced & divorcing women. The group provides therapeutic support as well as psychoeducation in a supportive and caring small group setting. The goal is to support and empower the women in the group and help them to optimally utilize their sometimes limited resources.
In addition to my degree in marriage & family therapy I also have a law degree and have trained in mediation and collaborative law enabling me to help group members from a multitude of perspectives.
