What's My Approach to Therapy?
Hi! My name is Scott Andersen, and I am an outpatient counselor with TRU Wellness Center. First, I applaud you for making a big step in your own wellness. Just getting to this point takes courage and strength. As a clinician, I focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to not just provide effective treatment, but also empower people to navigate the future rigors of life.
My approach is to create space for open conversation, discovery, support, and encouragement for those aspiring for betterment and peace. My experiences comprise a 20+ year career in the corporate world, being a military veteran, and striving to be a good husband and father.
