What's My Approach to Therapy?
When you find yourself in a whirlwind, losing your sense of direction, it can feel incredibly disorienting. You might be losing the battle with relentless looping thoughts, struggling to prioritize your own needs while in a relationship with others, or lacking the empowerment to make lasting change. There may be parts of your story that you would like to disown. As you lose trust in yourself, you become disconnected from your heart, confused by your own mind, and afraid to face what is next in life.
We believe human beings inherently have everything they need to navigate their journey. As they activate these qualities, individuals relate to their story differently, and find what is golden about it. As individuals give themselves permission to heal parts of themselves with self-compassion, they find that what was initially limiting is now emboldening.
Individuals can relate differently to their thoughts and behaviors, and fully arrive at experiencing their emotions. Rather than falling back on defenses, or behaviors that may help individuals survive moments, we help individuals to fully live moments. We see it as a great privilege to support individuals as they feel "at home" in themselves.
