What's My Approach to Therapy?
I'm a licensed clinical social worker who will help you navigate depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I've worked in outpatient, inpatient, and acute care settings, and I love supporting adolescents and adults as they build confidence, insight, and emotional balance. I bring warmth, empathy, humor, and an open mind to every session-creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and understood. My approach is evidence-based and person-centered, while blending elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. Our first session will be our introduction to one another, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy, and ask me questions about the process. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment because when you feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, that is a great foundation for the work of change and healing. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
