My Approach to Helping
If you are looking for guidance in resolving your anxiety, stress, fears, trauma or PTSD, I'd like to help. It takes courage to ask for help and I acknowledge your courage in taking this important step toward greater wellness. As an experienced marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of experience, it is my honor to assist you in exploring the issues that have brought you into therapy and to work hard to assist you in moving toward a healthier, stronger and more vibrant sense of Self. It is my goal to help you develop coping tools that you can use in your life on a daily basis that really work to help you cope with what life throws at you. Utilizing a variety of approaches including a specialization in EMDR, I will work with you to create a tailored treatment plan that may integrate Mindfulness-based practices, Somatic-based approaches, and person-centered therapy. Together, we will move forward in an environment that is warm, safe, and solution-oriented. You do not have to stay on the hamster wheel going round and round coming back to the same old problems. And the good news is that you have already taken the first step in your process toward greater wellness!
