My Approach to Helping
Life can be difficult at times. You may be experiencing that very sentiment, living through a situation that you cannot easily manage on your own. My desire and role are to provide the needed support for you to overcome your present difficulties and move forward on a productive path. I offer an unbiased, non-judgmental, and open-minded partnership on your road to healing. I do mean partnership.
I believe that we all possess resources for improving our situations and our lives. Unfortunately, it is not always easy to locate said resources or identify our own inner strengths. Things can become quite cloudy when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles, particularly when beyond one’s control. Together we will find workable solutions.
As a certified hypnotherapist, I helped people with anxiety, depression, and other problematic issues. As a group counselor for Refuge Recovery, I aided many others with substance use issues. Now, as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I continue to help many more people with their distinct struggles and issues, employing various evidence-based approaches.
