What's My Approach to Therapy?

Hello, I am a licensed professional counselor currently accepting new clients in New Jersey.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), tic conditions, grief, eating challenges, bipolar condition, schizophrenia, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, vocational stress, life transitions, and other mood- and stress-related concerns. I am especially skilled at helping clients who feel “stuck” and are looking for structured, evidence-based tools alongside compassionate support. I specialize in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for individuals with obsessive-compulsive (OCD) and am certified in habit reversal training (HRT) for clients experiencing body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) and tic conditions. My clinical foundation is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), though I take an eclectic and flexible approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Lastly, I value collaboration and work closely with clients to build practical coping strategies, increase self-understanding, and foster meaningful, lasting change. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered, understood, and motivated to move forward.

My Practice & Services

My practice is grounded in providing compassionate, evidence based, and culturally responsive care tailored to each client’s unique needs. I value collaboration and view therapy as a partnership, where clients feel supported, empowered, and actively involved in their healing process. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to increase accessibility and flexibility, and I work with clients across multiple states. I am especially mindful of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, identity exploration, and life transitions. Ongoing learning, ethical practice, and supporting sustainable growth for my clients are central values in my work.
