My Approach to Helping

I'm Meaghan Case, a licensed clinical social worker, with a passion for helping adolescents, young adults, and adults increase their quality of life and learn skills to help them deal with stress, anxiety, and other challenges in their lives. My approach is interactive, warm, accepting, and centered on each individual client's goals. I help my clients identify their strengths and areas they need to grow in to assist them in living up to their full potential. To meet my client's needs, I utilize a variety of techniques, including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), play therapy, angerstress management, anxiety reduction, and talk therapy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I studied social work at the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana and received my master’s in social work from Washington University-St. Louis. I also have a masters in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University.

I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults for six years, working on anxiety, depression, Autism, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, behavior disorders, anger management, ADHD, etc. I have a certification in school social work, where I have worked with many students (preschool through 22-year-olds) on behavior, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and developmental disabilitiesAutism. I am also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), a therapy that combines mindfulness, acceptance, and interpersonal skills.
