What's My Approach to Therapy?
I believe healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and supported. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s needs. For some, that may mean learning practical tools to manage anxiety or attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD); for others, it may involve working through grief, healing from trauma, or navigating major life changes such as career shifts, parenting challenges, or retirement.
I draw from proven methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and family systems work, while also incorporating creativity, spirituality, and personal meaning when important to the client. My goal is to help individuals and families build resilience, improve relationships, and find renewed confidence and hope.
My Practice & Services
My practice is built on the belief that everyone deserves a safe space to process life’s challenges and discover their own strengths. I provide counseling for children, teens, adults, and older adults, tailoring sessions to meet each person’s unique needs. Whether you’re navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, or major life transitions, therapy with me offers both practical tools and emotional support.
I work with individuals, families, and caregivers, helping improve communication, strengthen relationships, and foster resilience. For those who desire it, I also offer the option of integrating Christian faith and spirituality into the counseling process. My goal is to create an environment that feels welcoming, compassionate, and empowering, so that every client leaves sessions with greater clarity, confidence, and hope for the future.
