My Approach to Helping
I offer traditional and holistic therapy to soothe the mind, body, and spirit. These elements are essential in finding a perfect balance in life. My experience with psychotherapy has included helping individuals alleviate their struggles with physical dependencies (addictions), as well as mental and emotional imbalances (low self-worth, depression, anxiety, and panic). I also find exploration of identity development is beneficial in assessing values, belief systems, and instincts.
My work is based on a humanistic foundation, using Rogerian person-centered techniques to encourage confidence and independence. These therapeutic principles provide an optimistic environment and belief that you have the ability to make positive changes in your life. I incorporate meditative and yogic methods, encouraging a state of mindfulness to discover and appreciate your true self. You will have the ability to learn and practice cognitive-behavioral techniques in an environment that is safe, free from judgment, and open for exploration, creativity, and personal growth. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist and I offer hypnotherapy and chakra healing for individuals to experience an even deeper sense of relaxation and inner strength. I also offer psychological kinesiology to help further connect the mind and body.
