What's My Approach to Therapy?

Life can be challenging. Providing support, understanding, and a listening ear is important in overcoming hurdles. Offering confidential mental health and wellness services to adults. Together, we identify core issues and feelings and resolve problems while developing healthy coping skills. Increasing self-empowerment creates an opportunity for you to embrace your own unique strength and power. We will create a new mindset of mental healing, emotional growth, and self-discovery.

My therapeutic orientation includes cognitive behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) with solution-focused therapy. Characteristics of client-centered therapy, such as unconditional positive regard, are used to impact a client's journey. Additionally, I utilize art and music to promote creative outlets and gain further insight into a safe space.

I provide a variety of modalities to increase client progress. Appointments are available in a confidential and serene environment. Virtual therapy is available.

My Practice & Services

Hardship, trauma, and life created tranquil-ish therapy, doing business as Empower Your Vision. The company's desire is to help the community and provide confidence to those suffering from mental health issues. In the most challenging era of our generation, a place of tranquility and peace was born. A place to be safe from depression, anxiety, and trauma. A place to explore the past with support and to take back hope for our personal futures. Tranquil-ish therapy brings you safety in its open doors. In a time riddled with uncertainty, tranquil-ish therapy has risen up to take the lead in providing mental health, emotional stability, and freedom of expression, serving people in Missouri, Nevada, Colorado, and Iowa. Online and in-person appointments are available.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

"Sentio Ergo Sum... is my favorite phrase. It means, "I feel therefore I am...". It gives us the control we need in our lives to determine how we want to live and what we do with our emotions. It gives us an opportunity to feel what we need to feel and then transition those feelings into ones that we can use to learn about ourselves. "'I feel' means that I am the priority. "
