More Info About My Practice
Hardship, trauma, and life brought three ladies together in a flurry of ideas. Their cumulative strength, desire to help their community, and passion to learn created Perfectly Imperfect Counseling LLP. In the most challenging era of their general, a place of tranquility and peace was born. A place to be safe from the depression and anxiety of COVID-19 and Political oppression. These three women brought with them the motivation to open doors when others in the community were closing, unable to support the members of their neighborhoods. In a time riddled with uncertainty Perfectly Imperfect Counseling LLP rose up and took lead in providing mental health, emotional stability, and freedom of expression for our Missouri residents.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
"Sentio Ergo Sum... is my favorite phrase. It means, "I feel therefore I am...". It gives us the control we need in our lives to determine how we want to live and what we do with our emotions. It gives us an opportunity to feel what we need to feel and then transition those feelings into ones that we can use to learn about ourselves. "'I feel' means that I am the priority. " - Mareayna?
