What's My Approach to Therapy?
I specialize in helping women move beyond coping into healing: addressing long-standing patterns rooted in anxiety, trauma, people-pleasing, or perfectionism. My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and a strong emphasis on self-compassion. Therapy with me is warm, respectful, and transformative.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
For me, therapy is an wonderful blend of heart and skill. I love building deep, lasting relationships that feel like a grounded, attuned friendship, but with the clinical tools and insight that can help you truly grow. I serve as a companion and guide, walking beside you as you reclaim your story. Every client teaches me something. It's an honor to bear witness to your courage, your complexity, and the quiet ways you begin to change; not because I lead you there, but because you find your own path and voice within the safety of our work together. I have helped hundreds of clients over the last 15 years and consider it a privilege to be able to help others find the healing they deserve.
Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
The foundation of any meaningful therapy is the relationship itself. I don't like to see myself as the expert on anyone's life, instead, I view therapy as a collaborative process where I walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inner knowing. My role is to offer empathy and nonjudgmental guidance so you can become the expert on yourself.
