What's My Approach to Therapy?
I specialize in working with emerging adults, creative professionals, Jewish professionals, and those with anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), trauma, attachment, and panic challenges. I know it can be uncomfortable discussing change, but I promise to provide steady guidance and empathic facilitation through all that you wish to explore. I have spent many years working in the creative arts, the restaurant industry, with Jewish youth, and with couples and families. I found my path toward therapy for many reasons, but mainly because of my own journey in therapy and the potential of human connection. The strength of our therapeutic relationship is paramount to your success and healing, and I look forward to helping you identify your goals and future dreams.
I am interested to know what has not worked for you in the past when it came to therapy. I aim to create a safe and empowering space for my clients to explore their most meaningful obstacles. I operate from a person-centered and strength-based perspective, emphasizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and mindfulness, in order to aid you in your ability to emotionally regulate in times of distress. My main goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship based on trust and compassion, to allow for more growth!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding treatment or next steps. If you think we would be a good fit, feel free to reach out to me for a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
