My Approach to Helping

My experience spans from working with children, adolescents, adults and senior adults and I am committed to helping you see your own worth and value, in all situations. I practice in Amarillo, Texas and can also provide telehealth services in the state of Texas for anxiety, depression, trauma, self-confidence, anger management, grief and parenting. My office is located in a quiet office park with a private entrance to a tranquil waiting room. Life can sometimes be challenging and so overwhelming that it affects our overall well-being and ability to cope. I want to empower you to meet these challenges and give you the ability to change your life. I have extensive practice working with trauma and you can find me on the Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) roster. CPT is a specific type of therapy aimed at helping you evaluate and untangle your thoughts after experiencing a traumatic event.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Strengths Based Training and
Goal Setting, I walk alongside you to support and encourage you in dealing with anything that happened in your past, your current circumstances, and what happens outside of the therapy room walls. At your first visit, I will gather information about you and your life, as you are the expert on you. Together we will plan for the best treatment option for you and set goals that you choose. You have the power to decide how your story continues.
