What's My Approach to Therapy?

If your middle name is “Too Much,” “Not Enough,” “Out of Control” or “Unloveable” I’ve got you. I support folks who are up in their heads, struggling with self-trust and self-love. Having an unbalanced body and brain due to trauma, disordered eating, relational betrayal, andor neurodivergence can cause a lot of pain but that doesn’t have to be you. Using somatic, expressive arts, and traditional forms of therapy, I help people overcome feeling overwhelmed for more safety and satisfaction.

As a neurodivergent, sexual trauma survivor, I understand the rawness and resilience of being human. My clients describe me as warm, curious, and affirming, with a dash of humor. Being deeply attuned to my clients is very important to me. I'm passionate about helping clients discover their inherent gifts and resources. If you're looking for a guide who can simultaneously hold and push you, I could be the therapist for you. I look forward to connecting!

How Psychotherapy Can Help

If relationships created your suffering and struggles then relationships can heal them. By engaging in new, reparative relationships (with yourself and with others) you can develop an embodied sense of worthiness. Psychotherapy is a healing relationship that not only teaches you new tools, but also repairs past wounds. I can guide you in this process, bringing deep care and compassion.

Taking a phased approach to therapy, I use both creative and evidence-based approaches to support your goals. First, we'll work to build awareness of the beliefs, experiences, body sensations and memories that negatively impact your wellbeing. We will collaborate on a plan that?s right for you or your relationship(s).

Next, I teach resourcing skills and befriending practices that address ingrained survival strategies that no longer serve you or your relationship(s). Through this process, you can build a more trusting and compassionate relationship with yourself, others, and the world.

Finally, deeper wounds are addressed and processed, clearing the way for more satisfaction and wellbeing. To close, I?ll support the integration of your journey as we build new internal and external relationships for more trust and love.
