My Approach to Helping
You're awake, again, wondering whether what you are feeling is a big deal or if you should just push through. There are times in everyone's life when they feel unequipped to handle all the things that are thrown at them. Many people, in seeking to fulfill their basic human needs of happiness and connections with others, find themselves engaging in ineffective or counterproductive behaviors. These are the times that maybe you shouldn't just push through. One of the bravest and kindest things you can do for yourself is to seek help navigating through some of the reasons why you aren't where you would like to be.
I support a strength-based solution-focused approach to therapy. My goal for each client is to provide a calm, non-judgmental space where together we can investigate the thoughts, feelings, and motivations that are leading you to feel stuck. Ultimately, therapy can lead to greater self-awareness, self-esteem, and a more fulfilling life.
